Compact have been confirmed as the new international collection agent for Audio-Visual Secondary Rights for Flame Distribution on Day 3 of MIPCOM In an innovative deal.
Compact, as well as directly representing the distribution arm, have a wider arrangement for their international production partners. Producers that have already signed in include Crop tv (Spain), SeaLight Pictures (Australia) and Tindefilm (Norway)
Flame Media Group incorporates a full production arm based out of Sydney which includes content from celebrated celebrity food and wine luminary, Lyndey Milan. Flame chose Cardiff as their UK production hub with ‘Wildflame’ who recently completed the acquisition of Green Bay earlier this year. The distribution arm handles all of their own productions as well as third party content from over 200 producers giving them 3000+ hours of available content.
The group also operate an innovative ‘Buyers Club’ and have an advisory service to help leverage all available tax breaks and grants to help mitigate production deficits and ensure more money goes into the quality of the programme.

Part of the UK Village, this deal marks the third deal signed at the market with Paul Sheehan (COO) of STV Productions extending their 16-year run alongside - recently rebranded - GRB Studios appointing Compact as their exclusive agent
